This last weekend my whole family headed up to the Spruces in Big Cottonwood Canyon for some camping. Now, I'll be honest in that I was a wimp this year and didn't dare stay the night with the little one. My sister Diana however went up the first night on her own with her 3 kids (one being less than 2 months old). So yes, I was a wimp and Grady and I took our kids up only for the day. We still had a fun time though enjoying the fresh air, the beautiful scenery, the roasting of marshmallows and hotdogs, sitting around the campfire, and getting dirty. The only difference was that we were able to shower and sleep in our warm and comfortable beds!!! Maybe next time I'll be willing to give that part up! :)
