HAPPY THANKSGIVING WEEKEND...

I say Thanksgiving Weekend instead of Thanksgiving Day because Thanksgiving for us lasted all weekend long! To start it off right, Grady took Thursday and Friday off (normally he would have had to work in the morning since he is in the International Department at GS) and so we were happy to have him home all day with us! It was especially nice to have him home this year to help with the boys while I did all the cooking. Late Thursday afternoon we had a wonderful Thanksgiving Take I in American Fork at my uncles church with all of my mom's side of the family. She has 6 brothers and sisters and so between all of them and their kids and their kids...there were a lot of us! But we sure had a good time! We played human fuse ball in the gym...It was so great! We got a lot of good laughs out of that! We also did a lot of visiting and eating of pie. We then left around 7:00 to come home and enjoy a Christmas show as a family.

Our table...cousin Rachelle, Uncle Dwight, Aunt Sherrie, Aunt Cheryl, and Uncle David.

Two of my sisters, Shan and Diana, and their hubbies and kids.

What was left of our delicious feast!

Human Fuse Ball...what a riot!

Thanksgiving Take II took place on Friday afternoon with Grady's family in Taylorsville. We also ate at their church and then hung out afterwards playing with the parachute and doing other fun games. We had a great time with them, but sadly had to leave early to make it to the next one.

Grady and his Grandpa Kiser with his wife Rae.

What was left of another yummy feast!

The parachute...the kids love to play with this every year!

Thanksgiving Take III was with my dad and all of his side of the family. This was the same story as the first...lot's of aunts & uncles, cousins and great grand kinds! We always have such a blast though when we all get together! Once again, we ate more delicious food, and then played some crazy games like The Letter Game, Salt & Pepper, and Human Rock, Paper, Scissors. They were all such a crack up and with my dad's family being competetive like they are, there wasn't a dull moment! By the end of the night we were all exhausted, especially since most of us had gotten up early to take part in Black Friday Shopping. But what a fun weekend we had! I feel so grateful for soooo many things, but most importantly I am so grateful for wonderful, loving family all around me! I hope you all had a Happy Thanksgiving too! :)

Another delicious feast...good thing I'm pregnant and I have an excuse for a big belly!

My fam's table...
My Uncle Doug & Aunt Julie and their fam...

My Aunt Laurie & Uncle Alan and their fam's table...

My Grandma & Grandpa Perry with my Grandpa's sister Mary and her husband Kenny.
Boys against girls in the Letter Game...and of course the girl team won!
The Human Rock, Paper, Scissors Game...it was quite the action packed game! Lot's of fun!

You guys are always so busy I can't believe it! I don't think it's normal to have THREE thanksgivings! You guys are crazy! :) That is so fun though! We're sad we missed out on the Howell Thanksgiving. Oh well, I'm glad I didn't have to cook anything this year. ;)

What a fun weekend. Thanksgiving is seriously one of my favorite holidays. Food and family; it doesn't get much better then that.
